A little about me:

 

I recently moved to the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. I was born in Michigan, but raised in South Carolina. I'm lucky to have a wonderful wife of three years, Sam Violet. We share a bernedoodle named Boogie, and a cat named Samba!  I love crafting, comedy, performance art, museums, baking and travelling.

In 2017, I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theater. I graduated Summa Cum Laude, a Capstone Fellow, and with Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement. ​

​

In 2020, I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I studied for a M.A. of Creative Business Leadership. I would describe my degree as 'business for creative entrepreneurs': my degree helped prepare me to be an innovative, adaptive, metrics-oriented leader. In my free time, I run an Etsy shop called Counting Every Color, for my crafting hobby; I love resin and flow art, and making earrings. ​

​

Most recently, I worked at the City of Durham's Parks and Recreation Department, with their School-Age Care Programs. There, I was a Senior Program Assistant, and I provided recreational activities for kids after school, and for kids on school breaks.

 

I'm now looking for a new opportunity! I'm hoping for a position that will allow me to use my skills of creativity, organization, and efficiency.
